• Local craftsmen found work under the government’s 111 Agenda project

A total of 25,000 Ghanaians will be employed for the government’s health sector Agenda 111 project.
These workers to be hired are architects, engineers, bricklayers, carpenters, painters, and other professionals.
According to President Nana Addo Dankwa AkufoAddo, these jobs created directly and indirectly will contribute to the development of the country.

said: “Direct and indirect employment strategies to stimulate the economy of the communities in which facilities will be created. These include the creation of approximately 25,000 jobs during the construction and design phases. That is the work of architects, mechanical and electrical and biomedical civil engineers, surveyors, masons, carpenters, welders, steel benders, painters, tailors, and related professionals and craftsmen, as well as other indirect jobs.
President AkufoAddo made these remarks at the opening ceremony of Agenda Item 111 at Trede, Ashanti region, on Tuesday, August 17, 2021.
In his speech, he noted that the coronavirus outbreak has exposed the deficit of the health sector. That is why the government announced the construction of hospitals to solve this problem.
